Erotic Conversations with Compassionate Men: Union of Divine Masculine and Feminine in the Mythology of Meenakshi of Madurai and Her Temple

I create men. Compassionate men, specifically. 


What is a compassionate man? Compassionate men are powerful creators.

As a marriage and family therapist in America for the past 15 years, I have been in dialogue with thousands of compassionate men and their families.

This book is a look into my rich inner world as I contemplate compassion and the making of compassionate men.  In this book, I study, meditate on, and explore the myths of Meenakshi of Madurai and the Meenakshi Amman Temple as well as the divine poem about Divine Meenakshi, written by Sri Adi Shankaracharya, called the Meenakshi Pancharatnam.

Compassionate men care about themselves. Compassionate men care about others. Compassionate men listen closely, calculate methodically, and respond carefully. 


Through crises, through challenges, through championships, through calamities, compassionate men stay calm and come out on top. 


Compassionate men have been asking me fascinating questions for many years:

- How do I become the best man I can be in my home, in my career, in my family, in my community?

- How can I, one man, effect change and really make a difference?


- What is my unique role as one man among 7 billion people in this Universe?


- How do I use my personal power to ease my own suffering and the suffering of all those around me?


- In who's life can I make a real difference?


To answer these deep questions, I looked to many sources including the writings of the Dalai Llama, meditations like the Metta Meditation, and mantras like Om Mani Padme Ham. I read extensively about Meenakshi of Madurai, the divine feminine consciousness who represents an Ocean of Compassion and the merging of masculine and feminine energies within one's self. Meenakshi of Madurai became my source for understanding compassion and how to live life with compassion.
