Erotic Conversations with Powerful Men: An American Hindu Contemplates the Sacred Feminine of the Devi Sukhtam
I am Neelu. I am an Artist. I create men.
Powerful men.
Thousands of powerful American men have sat on my office couch to have erotic conversations with me.
What is an erotic conversation? Let me explain.
For the past 15 years, I have had thousands of erotic conversations with very powerful men.
The erotic is powerful.
As a marriage and family therapist in America, I have been in dialogue with thousands of American men to help them create and recreate themselves.
The erotic is creative.
I have championed thousands of American men by listening closely, quietly, carefully.
The erotic is sensitive and sensing.
I have been a source of comfort and compassion for men as they cry, laugh, let go, hold on.
The erotic is emotional and feels deeply.
Through their marriages, divorces, births, deaths, I have been a reassuring presence in the lives of thousands of powerful American men.
The erotic is nourishing and sustaining.
Powerful men have told me their long life stories, their deepest desires, their painful disappointments, biggest dreams, greatest triumphs, the little things that make them happy.
The erotic is authentic and honest.

Men ask me difficult questions:
- How do I get women to respect me?
- What is love really?
- Are soulmates real?
- Is there a God?
- Does the Universe care about me?
- How do I integrate being a rationalist with my irrational self?
- Are ghosts real?
- Who am I really?
- Will my wife ever love me?
These fascinating questions inspired deeply passionate, compassionate exchanges.
The erotic is curious and seeking.
I began having deep conversations with myself. I would ask myself the same questions my clients were asking me.
The erotic is introspective and reflective.
I turned to great thinkers like Dr. Carl Gustav Jung and great works in the ancient writings of the Hindu faith like the Devi Sukhtam. I also turned to philosophers like Albert Camus and writers like James Joyce. I studied the body language of Bollywood and contemporary Indian dancers like Brinda Guha and Meher Malik to understand the erotic.
The erotic is open and connects.
I looked everywhere for erotic conversations and erotic people. Erotic conversations are happening everywhere. Erotic people are everywhere.
Why an erotic conversation about the Devi Suktam? The Devi Suktam is ancient knowledge about how to become a very powerful woman. To help very powerful men (re)create themselves, I had to become a very powerful woman myself. I searched for clues in the Devi Suktam.
What are the qualities of a powerful woman according to ancient knowledge of the Devi Suktam which is more than 2000 years old? Join me to study, meditate on, and contemplate the Devi Suktam.
*****
This book is my letting you in on my inner dialogues as I study, meditate with, and contemplate the Devi Suktam. To support powerful men to create and recreate themselves in their homes, careers, and relationships, I became a powerful woman myself. In this book, I share my inner dialogues with the Devi Suktam and its ancient knowledge about the powerful feminine divine.
